West Patrol post #158
In 1976, the first Police PSC program was started at The San Antonio Police Department. PSC Post #830 was established by SAPD at the West Patrol Substation. On December 4, 2012 a re-dedication ceremony was held in honor of fallen Officer Hector Garza #158. By the authority of Chief W. McManus, the West Post now carries post #158.
Our post strives to be the elite PSC post in the San Antonio Police Department. We are made up of four highly motivated advisors and twenty-five dedicated PSCs. Our meetings are conducted every Tuesday night from 6:30 pm-9:30 pm. We challenge our PSCs at every meeting with physical fitness training, team building and a law enforcement based curriculum.
Interested individuals must be able to pass a physical fitness test and must attend four consecutive meetings. At that point, a review board will be conducted and the post advisors will evaluate the applicant for acceptance into the PSC program.
If you are highly motivated, have an interest in law enforcement, and want to be part of an elite program, come join the West PSC Post.
Meetings are on Tuesday’s at 6:30 P.M.
